WELCOME

Winona Design Studio is a boutique residential interior design practice based in Chicago. Founded by Amanda Faber, an NCIDQ certified designer and former Director of Interiors at Northworks Architecture with a background rooted in fabrication and craftsmanship, the studio is built on the belief that a home should feel deeply personal to the people living in it.

  • From complete home renovations to new construction to smaller refreshes, every detail is chosen with intention.

    Working for an Architectural firm for the last decade has given me extensive experience collaborating with architects and trades.

    Concept development through final installation. Includes all project management; design drawings, selections, construction coordination, furnishing specification and procurement.

  • Focused engagements for clients who want expert advice and ideas on a room or a whole house. This service is for clients who are looking for tailored guidance to either implement themselves or continue residential design services with Winona Design Studio.

  • For clients who want something that cannot be sourced, custom metal pieces, bespoke upholstered furniture, one-of-a-kind fixtures. Rooted in Amanda's background in fabrication and her relationships with skilled makers. This capability opens design possibilities that off-the-shelf sourcing cannot reach.
